In March 2004, I was contacted by "Extreme Makeover - The Home Edition" to be involved in a wonderful project.
This is a family with 9 children and a loving mom. Unfortunately they lost their father and husband to brain cancer in June 2003.
We contractors were given an opportunity to change not just their home, but also their future. In seven days, we did, what would
have normally taken 4-5 months and $186,000 to finish, and completely remodeled their entire home, inside and out,
forever changing their lives. What a week it was.
My part of this project was to install a high-end built-in central vacuum system. For this house I used the
Modern Day Air Force AF2 system with four inlets located througout the house and wired up a phone line interupt
so the vacuum system would shut off if the telephone rang.
