Bagged vs. Bagless
Which performs the best?
Have you notice that all you see advertised in the Sunday newspaper or on the shelves of your big-box stores are bagless vacuum cleaners?
Well, there is a reason for that - and it's not what you think.
It all has to do with money. As a retailer, those big-box stores need to make as much money as they can out of every single square inch of their stores.
If they have to use some of those inches to sell bags, they are not going to make very much money.
As a consumer, you think you're saving money by not having to purchase bags.
Here is where human nature comes in. We, as humans, are lazy. We tend not to do do things until we are forced to.
What most people don't realize is, bagless vacuum cleaners need maintenance... lots of it. Because of the way they are designed, the cyclones that separate
the dirt from the "clean" air will get VERY clogged up with very fine dust. If that dust gets past those cyclones and whatever that vacuum cleaner uses as a pre-filter,
that fine dust will get into the motor and in the long run, will burn that motor out. The bagless vacuum manufacturer and the retailers that sell those vacuum cleaners are both
counting on this.
The end result is you end up having to replace that vacuum cleaner every 3-5 years.... unless you are will to pay someone like us to completely clean out the vacuum
cleaner and possibly replace those "permanent filters" - usually you can count on spending around $100 - maybe on a yearly basis.
Additionally, you really need to think about the fact that according to most EVERY industry source bagless vacuum cleaners have no where the same filtering ability
that your typical bagged vacuum cleaner is capabale of achieving. You will also find that compared to bagged vacuum cleaners, bagless vacuums do not have anywhere near the same suction.

some of the most common vacuum cleaners have.
So, what all this means is we recommend bagged vacuum cleaners. They will have more suction, have better filtering, and last 2-3 times as long as a bagless vacuum cleaner.
We recommend SEBO
, and Titan
vacuum cleaners for your consideration.
